Please NOTE: all test-takers are required to present a photo ID and Test Admission Card before entrance to the HSK on the test date.

The Confucius Institute at PSU will send an email within one week to confirm your registration after all of your registration materials and payment have been received. If you do not receive a confirmation within five days after the registration deadline, you should contact us immediately by email at: confucius@pdx.edu. HSK registrations cannot be done by telephone and late registrations will not be accepted.

Taking the Test

• Both the Test Admission Card and a photo ID are required for admission to the testing room.

• A test-taker should have nothing on the table but the test booklet, answer sheet, pencils, and erasers. All other books, reference guides, papers, or electronic devices of any kind are prohibited.

• People taking the test who are less than five minutes late can enter the testing room. Those who are more than five minutes late but less than thirty-five minutes late may enter the testing room only after the first section (Listening Comprehension) is finished, with NO make-up for the missed section. Anybody more than thirty-five minutes late will automatically lose the opportunity to take the test without registering and paying the full amount, again, for a future exam.

Certificates and Score Reports

Certificates and score reports will be sent to the PSU testing site by the HSK Center in Beijing within 60 days after the test is administered.

As soon as The Confucius Institute at PSU receives the result from the HSK Center in Beijing, an announcement will be made in this website at: http://ci.oia.pdx.edu/hsk/hskannlinks/ regarding the schedule of when and where to pick up certificates and score reports.
